I ran White Rim many years ago in my Explorer 4x4 with some friends. It was a magnificent experience; as I recall, something like 120 miles and 3 days offroad. The scenery is breathtaking. I'll one up ya. Once, while driving through Colorado, I hit Denver during morning rush hour. A woman in the car in the lane next to me was putting on her pantyhose while driving about 40 mph. I gotta admit, that took some skill LOL.

Cobras had 429s but IIRC there were two slightly different 429 engines, one called a Super Cobra jet (?)

Another Ford guy with a Mustang to go fast, and my prior was an Eddie Bauer edition Explorer made to go slow on the trail. I have a hard time not modifying my vehicles. Our BS is the wife's and she has explicitly made clear I have to keep my hands off of modifying any part of it, rats LOL.

I believe the last manufacture year that vehicles were "EMP proof" would be `1974.... I have always regretted selling my '67 fastback that I restored in college long ago.... maybe I need to get another one again.
