some years ago a good friend had just finished rebuilding his 68 Plymouth Barracuda. He picked me up and we took it down the main street of town, and he was ecstatic and giddy about how many people were staring at the car and pointing at it. We pulled up to a light and the driver next to us looked over and and said something....which was hard to hear because it a had a big block and high compression pistons, radical cam, then he shouted to us..."your car is on fire!"...and it was.... literally.... we got out and flames were shooting from underneath from a fuel leak.
He must have forgotten to install the engine cover, what was he thinking

Reminds me of the movie, “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” with John Candy… “You’re going the wrong way!” ?

I watch this thread for fun but people are always talking about other things that are missing. So I have had mine since March and never mentioned it before cause I wanted to see someone say it first, but here it isn't...

Hmm the point where we would screw in that recovery hook is gone or just the hook?

The actual attachment to my vehicle that you screw the recovery plug to. Unless Ford is suggesting I run a strap in that tiny hole around the steel frame and back out, which sounds worse that threading a needle

I posted the same thing a few days ago here:
Rear tow hook | 2021+ Ford Bronco Sport Forum - Broncosportforum.com

Notice that another poster's picture looks right. I've been wondering perhaps that's Badlands things but I see that yours isn't.

Our BS has all the underbody panels & engine cover , but in agreement , some aftermarket Skid plates would be nice .

As far as it not being a Truck , well its not a Pick up Truck , but I wouldn't call it a Car also .
Know what SUV stands for ?

It probably is a truck, legally. The PT Cruiser was/is also a "truck" due to the design and use. I looked up the classification, only two rules apply to be considered a truck:
Did u know the PT cruiser was a doge neon chassis with the PT body dropped on top ?
Weill it was :,P
You buy a Jeep you get a Fiat engine and Dodge electronics.
Subaru, Porsche engine, no thanks as all that tells me is those companies lost the ability to make good complete cars.
At least when I buy a Ford I get a FORD !
No. In all reality I have nothing to complain about at all.
I’m gonna stick with Ford from now on.

Unless you got a badlands, you don’t get recovery points common on normal cars. Don’t slide into the ditch in the snow.
The best reason to get a trailer hitch is to have a way to yank the thing out of a ditch if you oops during winter.
I never bothered looking under that door because mine didn’t come with a screw in hook anyway - or it is really well hidden ?
