So i brought my 2025 bronco sport into the dealer to have it checked and they said they found that the CCM module bracket was broken. My question is, is there a diagram somewhere that i can see where that is located or is there someone that can show me where abouts it is? I would like to replace it myself because im not paying the completely mental price they quoted me to replace it.

Thanks.

What reason did they give you not to repair this under the factory warranty?
Because it was cracked. No clue why it was cracked but apparently if its physical damage its not covered.

The Cruise Control Module (CCM) is the radar unit used for adaptive cruise control, is located at the front of the Ford Bronco Sport, behind the bumper cover

Perhaps it’s in the center of the front grill, covered by a rectangular piece of black plastic - does that plastic piece look cracked to you as well ?

There is a forum post about someone disassembling the 2025 front end (don’t remember the title)

I say BS. 36 month 36K miles bumper to bumper warranty.

If you show no visible damage to that area that was caused by you, I can't see how you are liable for the repair costs.

Factory defect in my opinion.

The problem is that Ford is losing billions and will deny more and more things like this in the 3/36 and after basic warranty claims. That's a problem for owners who may have to hire attorneys to pursue their case. Ford has attorneys on retainer and the attorney's fees for owners in most cases will exceed the repair cost.
I do hope this OP's repair will be free.

I didnt see any damage at all where that black square cover is and i can see the module behind it. I think im just going to find out how to remove the bumper to get to it and see myself what it actually looks like and if the bracket is cracked but just out of alignment i will just see if i can knock it back into place and just play around until the light goes away.

I'd continue to fight Ford on this for a while. If you take things apart, most likely you'll get a definite no.

At $170 an hour shop rate for them to keep checking and how ever much else they would like to charge its not worth the hassle, i dont even want that stupid feature anyway lol.

@Methodical9 You're in for a fun time. See attached intuctions for front bumper removal and CCM access.

Keep in mind that after you replace the bracket, you will need to calibrate the CCM. You cna do this yourself with FORScan. It requires driving the truck on the highway for x amount of time with the laptop plugged in. I can tell you from personal experience that when calibrating the CCM, it will hang at 99% for a while before it completes. If you do this, when you are calibrating it and see the progress bar reach 99%, just keep driving until it gets to 100%.

Are you able to see the bracket without removing the bumper? If not, how would they know it is broken? If your Fordpass is working, message me the VIN so I can pull the codes it is reporting.
