I've used trail control before.. but this past weekend I went to turn it on and the button is depressed... Any idea on how to raise it or remove it or remove the housing... Thanks in advance

I don’t have the whole answer but I would start by pulling that panel off. There is a thread here about adding the ambient lighting of the OB models to other interiors where removing that panel is described. That would at least get you in there where you could probably figure out how to get to that switch and figure out what is keeping it in the depressed position.

Get some contact cleaner. It's not conductive, so it can't damage the electronics. And it should help dissolve whatever gunk is in there gunking it up.

I am assuming you spilled something on it. If you did not take it in have it replaced under warranty.

I don't remember anything spilling... But I'm pretty hard on my vehicles... I had it backed up a 15 degree hill and filled the back up with logs this past weekend... I know it was 15 degrees because that's what the dash said on my BL... That sticky could be from oranges yesterday that exploded... Ugh

Based on all the spots and junk in there, it sure looks like you spilled something that is making the button stick. I know for game controllers, folks recommend cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol (https://stealthoptional.com/gaming/how-to-fix-sticky-buttons-xbox-one-series-x-controller/).
Love the junk comment... It was deep in the woods this past weekend... Yes I ate a whole bag of Brach's harvest corn .. I'm thinking spots were from yesterday when the orange exploded ..

Spray a little iso in there. Try to work the edges with a q tip and then blow out with a compressor/dust off while pressing the button. Fords button placement in the center is dumb af. All the off-road buttons on my Jeeps, toyos, etc are all in the dash or headliner so this doesn’t happen.

I use Silicone spray for issues like that. It won't harm the plastic or the elecrical contacts. Good luck.
