Im glad I didn’t order a Bad Lands, the lack of a carpet would drive me nuts. I spent years driving service vans with rubber floor mats.
I put our OB in sport mode today, it’s more than quick enough.
Could you expand on this? This will be my first car with rubber floor mats. What do you not like about them?

The entire floor covering is rubber, it’s just not appealing to me.

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I have my BL for about a week now. It does not have the BL package and has the Ebony / area 51 interior. I like it.....a lot! Not many good photos of this interior. Here's mine.

Cheers

Thanks for the comment. Although I’m very eager to get my Bronco Sport, you’re right, waiting for exactly what I want is worth It in the end. In retrospect, for me, the BL is too much car. The OB will suffice. I‘m glad you got the car that serves you best. Enjoy it!
I don't mean to change the subject, but I like your dogs in your picture! It makes me want to get a dog! ?

Dave, this is interesting to me. I've often wondered if there are people that actually want carpet in vehicles or if the manufacturers put it in because it's cheap. One of the reasons I was most excited about the Bronco Sport is because there's very few SUVS you can get with rubber floors. I'd rather have a surface that I can actually clean. To me, carpet just harbors dirt and moisture. What do you see as a benefit with carpet in a vehicle?

I couldn't agree more. The carpet mats in mine were full of sand in a few days (and were a pain in the ass to get clean), but the floor vacuumed clean in a few seconds. I used Ford Pass rewards I earned buying the vehicle to buy the rubberized floor mats ($175 retail) and I'm going to pick them up from the dealer later today.
