  1. Anyone Have PPF Installed on Plastic Pillars?

Thanks so much for confirming my original thoughts. I'm scheduled to have it installed on all of the glossy piano black pieces on Tuesday. My dealership body shop successfully buffed out all the fine swirly scratches and recommended another dealership that installs PPF. They're going to do it...
  2. Anyone Have PPF Installed on Plastic Pillars?

Thanks! I look forward to hearing how it goes for you. If it's anything like applying vinyl screen protectors to phones and other screens, I don't think I'll be happy with how it turns out doing it myself. I'm always so OCD about applying those and they don't turn out as perfect as I'd like.
  3. Anyone Have PPF Installed on Plastic Pillars?

I picked up my Badlands over the weekend and it came with light swirls/scratches on all the glossy black pillars between the windows. I'm working on figuring out if they can be buffed out or need to be replaced. Once they're back to how they should be I want to protect them since it seems that...
  4. Review of our new Badlands and comparison with our old Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

Thanks for the post. I almost pulled the trigger on a Cherokee Trailhawk twice over the last few years, waiting for the Bronco Sport to come out, but decided to keep waiting. I pick up my Badlands this coming weekend. One thing we really liked about the Trailhawk was the comfortable seats, so...
  5. OB or BL?

I tested the OB and the BL + BL package in January and the BL easily won out. I haven't got confirmation from anywhere that both models use different seats, but there was a HUGE difference in the comfort of the seats in the BL for me. Of course there's other things that swayed me to the BL, but...
  6. When to buy? Supply and pricing for the rest of the year?

Sounds like you've been in a very similar situation to me. Although my Escape is now 13 years old. I've been waiting for the Bronco Sport to come out FOREVER. Like you, I was also hoping to hold out until incentives were a couple thousand dollars. As time went by this year, I was realizing more...
  7. Ordering update: last day to order 2021 Badlands is 4/15

Ordered on the 04/13/2021 deadline for the BL + BL. Just got the email with a production date of 06/28/2021. I was afraid that that they may say I have to wait for the 2022 model year, which I supposed still could happen with the supply issues. I have hope though that I'll get it this summer!
  8. Ordering update: last day to order 2021 Badlands is 4/15

After anticipating the Bronco Sport since 2017, I got my order in on the deadline date of 04/13. In hopes that I'll have it by the end of the summer. I was trying to hold out for better discounts incentives (I already have the X Plan), but with all of these supply problems, etc. that's not...
  9. My thoughts after a weekend roadtrip

I was planning on silver for my Badlands. Your pic has sold me on the cactus green.
  10. Thinking of changing trim

Dave, this is interesting to me. I've often wondered if there are people that actually want carpet in vehicles or if the manufacturers put it in because it's cheap. One of the reasons I was most excited about the Bronco Sport is because there's very few SUVS you can get with rubber floors. I'd...
  11. Anyone seen both the Outer banks and Badlands leather seats? Which is nicer?

The Badlands package leather seats had much softer cushioning to them. The Outer Banks seats were stiffer. I felt like I was mattress shopping all over again. lol! I found there to be a very big difference in how comfortable I was sitting in each of them. Myself and the sales rep were both...
  12. Badlands vs Outer Banks

Looked at the Outer Banks and the Badlands tonight at my local dealership. I'm definitely going with the Badlands. I figured I would because of the engine alone, since I'm coming from a 2008 Escape with a V6. I thought the Outer Banks was supposed to be the model with the most creature...
  13. Anyone seen both the Outer banks and Badlands leather seats? Which is nicer?

Test drove the Badlands with the Badlands package tonight. The dealership also had an Outer Banks on the showroom floor. There was a definite difference between the leather seats in each of them. The Badlands seats were far more comfortable.
