This is not uncommon for things mechanical. I sign off commercial jets as airworthy. In my business this would be like an Airworthiness Directive.... Boeing, Airbus...everybody gets them.
The problem is identified, mitigating measures established and a fix rolled out once designed and proven...
I've hose my Bronco off about once a week at a wand wash and, as mentioned previously, never use the brush. Most of the time I'll just keep it on rinse and strip the salt off it......get inside the wheel wells and hose it out as well as the underside as best I can. Today is sunny and -15 C (5 F)...
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I have my BL for about a week now. It does not have the BL package and has the Ebony / area 51 interior. I like it.....a lot! Not many good photos of this interior. Here's mine.
Cheers
Ha.....funny you should mention that. I am suffering with a Tire Pressure Monitoring Fault at the moment and, as expected, for good reason. This is the first TPIS system that I have owned and planned to investigate a compatible valve stem for these new rims.
Plan B.....live with it until...
Dear All,
I picked these rims up at Canadian tire. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding an equivalent in the US (O'Reilly's ?). Prices here shown in Canuck bucks. Yes, they are steel.
Cheers
Just picked up my BL and wanted dedicated snow tires mounted on their own rims. The dealership didn't have available rims on hand. For your info, Steelies made for the Escape, as you might expect, are a perfect fit. Very happy with my Bronco Sport.
I'm about to get my fingers on my Badlands.....Woohoo!
I cannot, however, get rims from Ford to mount Snow Tires. Insurance is a bit cheaper if you run Snow Tires in the Winter here in Ontario. Was thinking of running 225 snow tires, in the event that I need to throw chains on.
Canadian Tire...
Tdubz, quite true. The best one can hope for is to slow down a potential thief where they move on to something easier. I have a classic 69 Cougar where I walk off with the rotor in my pocket......cheap, cheerful and effective.
I have never owned a car with a keyless system......to have a thief...
Thanks Cyclone Cowboy. If I understand correct, the coded RF signal generated by the key fob can be recorded, copied and used to enter and drive your car/truck away. Does the Bronco Sport keyless system have any enhancement to prevent this? Or should I keep my keys forever in a Faraday pouch...
Granger Ford,
Thank you for your valued input. For us folks up in Canada, we're not informed on a VIN number or a build date.......just a phone call when to pick it up.....(or so I've been told)
Am I missing something here in the frozen north......(other than warmer weather)?
I squeezed the trigger on an Oxford white BL from my Dealership just outside of Toronto. They told me to expect my Bronco around Mid February. Also the Ford.ca website does not provide the same updated order information as the folks in the US.
