Eruption Green Ford Bronco Sport from Matchbox (Coming Soon!)

Just wanted to let you all know that Matchbox is coming out with another version of the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. This time in the signature Eruption Green Metallic featuring gold wheels to compliment it even further. It should be released in stores in the next few months. I recently posted on the Maverick forum regarding a Hot Wheels Ford Maverick Custom that's supposed to be released in the next several months as well. It went viral since there's a major following for the Maverick. I'm not sure how this one will do, even though viral is not what I'm going for, I just wanted to let you all know as a heads up for anyone interested. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Of course, you know that I just have to get two of them, one to keep in the package and one to open and hold in my hand.

Well, this turned out to be a bit disappointing.

It is the EXACT same Bronco Sport in Eruption Green Metallic that has already been selling overseas for more than a bit. It's just in new packaging for the US/Canada (etc.) market. Both made in Thailand.

Smaller than Matchbox's previous Bronco Sport offerings in just about every dimension. And maybe not as nice. Interestingly, the Eruption Green Metallic one is probably more correct as far as dimension ratios go; I thought the previous offerings were more Explorer-like (rectangular/too long) than Bronco Sport-like (cubed).

One should not nit-pick a gift from Santa, but he brought me one of the Matchbox Eruption Green BS. The box says 2022, the bottom of the car says 2022 Ford BS, but..I bought a new 2022, and Eruption Green was not a color offered that year, or I would have chosen that for my order. I settled for my second choice... Alto Blue. I ordered my 2022 as soon as the order book opened, so maybe the Eruption Green was offered later on 2022's.
That aside, the detail is very well done. A small rear window wiper, the rear camera, and the front fender vent things, and good lettering.
