Does anyone know if the USB-C in the front cubby will allow for a splitter? Thinking about using a splitter that will allow me to connect my Android phone, and connect a small USB LED to act as "ambient lighting " at the same time.
Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend it. Since the USB-C ports in the front are connected for SYNC 3 they will complain. If you put anything in between it will tell you USB Hub unsupported.

Beyond that, the power ports are pretty anemic. I haven't personally tested the exact wattage of the ports, but having used them before getting a wireless carplay adapter, I noticed my iPhone 14 Pro Max was charging very slowly. That supports up to 15W wireless charging, up to 27W wired charging, and I suspected that it was much slower.

I'm guessing that the regular Bronco has the same ports and they have tested them there. The USB-C port caps out at 1.79A @ 5V. Round that even to 1.8A and that's 9 watts of charging.

I'd prefer if Ford just put more regular DC cigarette lighters in the vehicle... it's more future proof. I carry a Galaxy S23 for personal use (iPhone work phone) and the fast charging is still at 45W, but it expects a different power profile for the 45W, so all of the 45W fast chargers for the S22 don't work with the S23 (they'll charge it, at 25W max). I get the idea of it being convenient to not have to buy or plug in adapters, but charging tech changes too fast for vehicle manufacturers to keep up with as vehicles are released, much less the many years of ownership people enjoy after...
