Hi guys

This week I've made my third road trip on the BS (more than 200 miles) and I exprienced something weird, there are moments when the maximum speed gets to 199 Km/hr (123 Miles/hr) and some other only gets to 185 km/hr (123 miles/hr) according to my research the maximum speed for the BS 2.0L engine es 125 miles/hr (201 km/hr)
Is this happening to you guys? or is it only me?
Hope to hear from you

Sorry, but I couldn’t get to those speeds around here — even if I wanted to. Got almost all the speed out of my system prior to retirement, now I think of what I’ll look like if something goes wrong (I look bad enough as it is).

I would never do that in a BS (it does have the aerodynamics of a brick FWIW). A lot of that is going to depend on many environmental factors (fuel type/quality, head/tail winds, temperature, road gradients, etc). Cheers!

Done it in all my cars, the INFINTI runs 195 km/hr and 195 it is, the VW Jetta runs 220 KM/Hr and 220 it is, the chevy Malibu runs 260 km/hr and 260 it is indpendently of all the factors even if you are running down the hill all those cars limti speed at the speed limit, but the BS is very unstable, too weird for me.

Lets just say this can hold a solid 125 mph and one time 126 mph on the open highway

You can tune the vehicle to take off the rev limiter and let it eat. 2.0L Badlands I can see in the high 12’s with proper tuning/mods - if you’re into that stuff.

Where are you driving that allows you to drive 123 MPH:crazy:?

I don't think its a great idea to drive our BS's that fast. The height and stance was not designed to be stable I'd think at that speed. I also would not want to experience a loss of control in a BS at that speed.

Only place I knew of and experienced was in Germany, on their autobahn. That was in a BMW M6 by an experienced autobahn driver.

I have driven a Mercdes benz C250 sport at 250km/hr in the autobahn, so I checked for that on my bucket list.
Here in Mexico, there are plenty of highways that are just a straight line and you can speed up very easy.
