This was after my wife rescued my friends and I from the airport. She threw it into off road to back it out of the driveway. The highways were rough and the local roads were rougher. Had to drop one friend off 3 blocks from his house as the roads were completely untouched and we didn't want to risk getting stuck at midnight. The Sport handled way better than I could have expected.

I had the same issue when my wife & I lived up in NJ with a 2000 Ranger & a 1999 Explorer Sport when driven in the snow that had smooth inner fender liners. Nothing new. We had to kick the frozen snow off the inner fender liners.
No. It's new and totally different. With the smooth liners, you kick the snow/ice chunks and it falls off pretty easily. The kids today would say it's "so satisfying." With these fuzzy pieces of junk, it sticks and sticks and sticks. About the only way to remove it is to spray it with warm water or wait until the temps climb and it melts and falls off. It's like pulling old bubble gum out of carpet! :)

I’ve done -40. No need or desire to repeat. ;)
I grew up in Wisconsin as a youngster. Moved back home to PR for decades. Been back in the US for over 20 years. This is the coldest in FL. 25 today in central state. Coño (damn it) it cold...?

Here in Brockville we’ve had pretty consistent winter weather with snow on the ground and chilly temperatures since before Christmas this morning was no different with a bit of snowfall overnight and snow on the main as well as side streets. The snow crunch whether walking or driving on it.

It’s a nice Canadian winter day here.

I have a lot of respect for those who live in the great white north, but that kind of weather is a hard no for me. Probably the same for northerners when they look at our summer temps.
