I got my SiriusXm lifetime back in 2006 about 20 years so far … $0.87 USD per month and continuing to decline
Managed to avoid any of the transfer fees too
I originally had 2 lifetime subscriptions but lost one when they stopped selling it and did not let me transfer it to the new car because SIriusXM said it was only for the original car and not transferable. Thanks to a class action lawsuit my second lifetime subscription was reinstated but I always got hit with a transfer fee when trading in for a new car. Still a small price to pay for being able to keep the lifetime subscriptions active.

I agree!! This is the 4th car we've had it transfered to and this last time we did have to pay a transfer fee, but it's worth it as i listen to it all the time, either in the car or on a Bluetooth speaker on the app!

You could do it "old school": turn the tuner knob. When you find a station you like, program to one of the fav location slots.

I use the app to find stations - then add to Sync using channel number. Be warned: there are a lot (and by "a lot", I mean way more than I think there should be) of stations that are ONLY available via the app....not on the radio. So for those stations - playing on your phone via app and CarPlay are your only option.

Oddly enough. My sirus xm still works on my 22 big bend that I got brand new. They must of forgot to turn mine off after 90 days. It's going on 3 years strong..

I actually like it that way!! Last night I went on the app, and chose stations that I like and added them to the Library. Then when I'm in my vehicle and hook to Android Auto, i can see those stations and pick the one I want to listen to!

When I was in rental cars every week, I used to carry a CD wallet, then when they came with Sirius I started listening to that because I never wanted to search for local stations. Then I quit listening to the radio altogether when it became too distracting while trying to navigate a different city each week.

I left that job in '17 and travelled exclusively internationally until last year, so rental cars were exceedingly rare. My last two cars both had XM built in (don't they all these days), but haven't used it once. Nor have I turned on the radio a single time in 11 years. Just got used to it, I guess.

My SiriusXM channel guide: Turbo (41), Octane (37), Liquid Metal (40) and when I'm feeling nostalgic, Ozzy's Boneyard (38) Don't see the need for the other gazillion channels, but that's just me:sunglasses:
