22,500 miles now on my Base Model. Drove it home December 2020 before any price increases.
Not a glitch not any problems and, AND I have an engine cover :’P
I tell people I have the five door model with the Twin turbo 4.0 Liter V-6
Cause that’s how I roll ~~~~
I bet you will Enjoy yours as much as I do !
Marty, if mine turns out to be half as good for me as I see yours has been for you, I’ll be happy! You’re always on here enjoying & praising yours, I hope mine is that good too for sure.

Congrats Mike. I treat my Badlands like a baby. I even get to drive it occasionally. Short story is my wife loves our Bronco Sport and keeps a set of keys in her purse. We also have a Honda CR-V. She doesn’t keep those keys in her purse. Have fun with your new baby.
Thanks Jim. Haha that is too awesome though, easy to see which is the favored vehicle. But I do like the Sport is a compact SUV/CUV that you can be passionate about & treat it better than an appliance. There are great competent choices in the class, the CR-V being one for sure, but I can understand if it doesn’t inspire her (or you perhaps too) the same ways as the Badlands does.

I was surprised to see the number of Sports & full size in at my dealer when I picked mine up. Customer orders of course. I took a few mins to admire the full size ones on headlocks, but the city dared to fill the potholes at the entry to the local mall & lake, so that kills my use case for those.

So where have I been going this weekend? Not far. I did brave downtown yesterday though, a trip best suited for compact cars & the Sport handles that fine. So much of my life is just exploring the city where I live, with occasional trips around, so this car is honestly perfect for that.

?‍♂ I can’t win with auto correct today. Beadlocks. Nor can I win with auto capitalization. ugh. But yes it seems everybody here chooses the most capable off-road rims & tires possible on their 6Gs.

It makes sense why Euros make fun of Americans for having supped up off roaders that’ll never seen a trail let alone anything substantial enough to warrant or need all that kit.

I was thinking of starting a thread today to see how many people on here have taken their cars in the dirt and needed advanced kit but I think I already know the answer to that.

Like I got my car in March and have only needed to lock the rear diff once or twice really. Poor thing needs to be broken in and I just don’t have close access to anything that would need it.

I hear ya there, honestly for me the BL is more than I need. I fall firmly in the camp of buy what you want no matter your use, but still. I’d like to use it as an opportunity to do more outside the city & probably will through it’s life.

Ha! I just thought it was just one of those Canadian slang words I didn’t know.

I can attest to the word smiths from Apple. I go back and read some of the “shirt” I wrote before and I don’t think I was even drinking!

Plenty of big curbs and as you know good terrain but everything is so dam developed there’s nothing left to drive on that’s not paved or open to the public.

That’s what I was thinking. I haven’t been out there in a few years but around here and out in Phoenix it’s gone crazy in the past 5 years.
