Who did your alignment? Sam's?

And I appreciate the write up. I'll probably need to replace my OE tires in the next 6 months so I'm starting to do some research. These and BFG Trail Terrains are on the list. Maybe Firestone Destination AT2, mostly because there's a Firestone 5 minutes from me and the nearest Discount Tire is 35 minutes and several towns over.
I had Firestone TransForce on my 2015 RAM 2500 4x4 diesel long bed pickup they lasted 21,000 miles. I would never own another Firestone tire again. I have never had good luck with Firestone.

UPDATE

I've put just under 5K miles on these tires since new. Here are my observations:
  • The Toyos remain quite a bit louder than the OEM Falkens. I thought they might quiet down after wearing in a bit, but that hasn't happened. They make the typical sound you hear from tires with aggressive tread patterns.
  • Ride quality remains excellent. These tires run at least a smoothly as the OEM Falkens. No complaints in this arena.
  • I have yet to take the Toyos offroad or use them on snow/ice, but they perform quite well in wet conditions. Again, no complaints (yet).
  • The Toyos are not as fuel efficient as the OEM Falkens. I keep a running log of fuel used vs miles driven, and mileage dropped from a average of 25.7 mpg over 30K miles driven with the Falkens to 24.8 mpg over 4900 miles driven with the Toyos. That's a 4% decrease in fuel economy. Is that significant? Everyone will have to decide for themselves on that one. If you assume an average of $3.50 per gallon, that would be a total fuel cost $6800 (for the Falkens) vs $7050 (for the Toyos) over 50,000 miles driven.

My Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires (235/65R-17) are quiet. I don't notice any more noise than the Michelin CrossClimate tires that were on it previously. Cheers!

I found some Toyo A/T III's for 208 each so went with them. I'm really surprised how smooth they are on the highway. I don't see any difference in noise or vibration on the highway vs the Continental Procontact XT, I can feel it a bit at lower speeds on paved roads, sub 20 MPH or so, but overall, I'm happy with the tire, and I love the looks.

One thing I noticed about going from 225/65R17 to 235's is......my GPS and speedometer actually match. With the OEM tires, when the speedometer said 70, the GPS would show 72. With the 235, when the speedometer says 70, so does the GPS. I found it interesting, because I for sure thought the larger tires would throw the speedometer off on my BB, but it appears to have fixed it.

I had similar results going from 235/65 Falkens to 235/70 Firestones . . . makes me wonder how Ford’s computers “calibrate” things.
I was wondering the same thing. Next time I get tire work done, I'll ask my guy to hook it up to the Forscan and see if it shows what tire it's set for.

2021 BL. Stock Falken tires. 24K miles. Speedo has always shown 1 mph faster than actual speed.
Mine is the same as yours. Seems to be a few mph’s under the radar speed signs.
