Production to delivery date???

How is it that I ordered mine the week before you with the same package and moonroof, yet the only thing i've received is the confirmation email. I haven't even received a production date.

Good question! Contact your dealership. This whole thing is a nut show! Now mind you, this was my 3rd order.... first was 2nd week of April and "lost", 2nd was in July and they asked to resubmit as a 22 which is the October order

Maybe they prioritized you? Weird. I have time, my Escape lease isn't up until June, but i'd like to take advantage of the equity I currently have in this market. I'm thinking i'll probably get it right around when the lease is up.

Because ford prioritizes certain regions in country and within each region ford prioritizes certain dealers. So dealer you ordered from has huge impact when you get scheduled for production. It not first come first serve.

Curious.... my production date is 1/24.... when yours was pushed out, did they notify you before original date or did you just follow on the order tracker? Sad that I am anticipating a delay but trying to stay hopeful! TY!

I got the above email on 11/13. This email is what notified me of the push from 11/8 build week to 11/29 build week.

My 2022 Badlands with Premium pkg, moonroof order was confirmed 10/29. On 11/18 I received an email with VIN saying that the production date is 1/24. No other communication to date. What delivery time-line should I expect?

Ordered my BL 11/5/21. Scheduled to be built the week of 1/24/22 but updated on 1/7/22 to be built the week of 1/31/22. My dealer said it can be a couple weeks to delivery but due to trucking issues due to corona they can't predict.

Is there a way to know which region and/or dealer Ford prioritizes? I've read a few posts about how the scheduling system works but still strikes me as involving lots of Ford black magic voodoo.

I ordered an OB model on 10/21. My close friend ordered his BL on 11/3. His hit production this week (1/17), while my dealer is telling me mine is the week of 1/31.

Ask your dealer for an update; they have their Visibility Reports that they can pull up and see what week you're scheduled for production.

I just received an email from Ford that my production date has been moved from 1/24 to 1/31... ugh. My order date was 10/19.

Hi all, truck transport issues are affecting many of our delivery dates. My dealer spoke with a trucker last Friday who said that the blizzard up here in New England and the subsequent ice storm have further clogged the transport/delivery channels. Mother Nature on top of Covid on top of supply chain issues = a perfect storm!
