Our OB 1.5L driven in normal mode has 275 miles total and its showing 26+ mph, not bad.
We live out of town so mostly highway driving, going to switch to 93 octane after we burn the dealer tank of 87.

I'm usually getting around 28.5 or so each time on my Outer Banks.

I do right at 50% freeway and 50% city streets. The freeway part is usually at an average of just over 80MPH and the city streets are mostly posted 45MPH so I average around 50MPH there.

Good to know as my commute in March will be about 60mi round trip, which I know in country mileage is different (I used to live in the sticks) to Southern California miles that I'll be driving.

So the Badlands engine is the 2.0 ?
I would have never guessed it could beat the 1.5L in a mpg fight !!!
The 2.0 engine guys I’ve talked to mostly get 24 mpg,,,
Makes me wonder what’s going on.
I do well to hold 26 mpg with my base model..

The only engine on the Badlands is the 2.0.
I am 64 and don't have as heavy of a foot as I used to have. The MPG is directly proportioned to the actions of your right foot.

I have a Badlands, I've seen that type of fuel mileage typically over long flat extended drives, speed also plays a part since the BS being a box isn't that aerodynamic.
Pure city mileage isn't that great, same as what you're seeing.
