Pre-collision assist and emergency braking are included with Copilot 360.

Maybe I have to get closer to see if it brakes itself. I've only witnessed the red flashing screen twice now. First time someone cut across my bow but not that close. The one the other day was strange. Just going around a two lane corner with someone on my port side. Started flashing but never braked. Guess I'll need to read up a bit.

Post Collision Braking? Seems too late for that. Maybe to stop the billiards game in traffic?
Pre-collision assist ramps up braking response--my understanding is you don't have to step as hard on the brake pedal to get full braking power. Emergency braking applies the brakes for you if the system doesn't believe you will apply them yourself. The pre-collision assist is meant to help avoid an accident. The emergency braking is meant to reduce the severity of an impending impact.

As other have noted, if you're relying on these systems to avoid an accident you're doing it wrong. These are emergency systems meant for unforeseen and unavoidable situations. If the emergency braking system activates it may save your life, but I doubt very much it will prevent your car getting totaled.

Mine only flashes but then I do not have 360+
it assists breaks. See my above post. I felt it in the breaks. But it only does it if it has to. It’s more to minimize an accident not avoid it automatically. These are not self driving vehicles no matter the tech package. They are all assistant features.

And they do. 100% I can confirm your statement. I could feel a difference in the breaks and how fast I was stopping.

I believe that post-collision braking is supposed to essentially stop the vehicle after an impact to prevent further damage/injury. So if the driver is not capable (for whatever reason) of not controlling the vehicle after an impact, the system will keep it from going further.
