Yeah that's not car wash wet. Does it come out any color or smell?
no. it is water. are there floor drain plugs in the bronco sport, like there is on the full size bronco?

there should be drain plugs. but who knows, maybe one was missed at factory?
the a/c drain tube should be located somewhere on the firewall, or floor around the firewall. sometimes debris gets jammed in there, causing it to backup. but this vehicle is pretty new.
either way - i'd get ford to check it out.

It could also be air bypass leakage in you A/C venting system or Air Box , something may be disconnected, broken or not sealed properly . Ya need to see if water( condensate ) drips out of your A/C drain first . I'll go out & look for it but it may be hard to find right now , our BS is soaking wet from rain.I looked & can't tell with all the water on the Garage floor & the BS , but ifs you look at this photo from when I changed my Oil , you can see I ran the Engine for a few min. so the Oil sample was a good mix & if you look at the end of the Cardboard I have on the Driveway , there is a wet spot from condensate on the Driveway , it could have traveled , because the BS is on Ramps , but my Drive has a grade to it & the BS may be close to level . That spot is right below the firewall .

Seems it can only be caused by a couple of things.
1. Water leaking in from the outside (washing vehicle, rain, sprinklers, water crossings etc)
2. Water leaking from inside (ac condensate leak caused by clogged, disconnected or missing drain tube, ac evaporator housing leak, water bottle/container leaking or spill etc.)

i agree. i think its an ac condensate leak. would it leak even if ac is not turned on?

Its possible , there is fresh air being brought into the system all the time & that drain will pass any that gets into the fresh air intake ,rain , washing the BS or condensation just from temperature changes .

sounds like the drain hose is under the carpet and not exiting to the ground. never a puddle under the car

If you can stand to turn off the system completely for a few days so things can dry out, then start running the system again to see if it gets wet, you'll know where the water is coming from, just not how. Obviously thats a lot to ask depending where you live. You said you're taking it to the dealer, they should be able to figure it out.

That's not good if that's what it is. Echoing what @RSH said, I have my older car parked outside. Sunroof drains got clogged up, which had totally soaked the front row carpet. After getting most of the water out I then setup dehumidifier running non-stop for a couple of days. That got it all completely dry.

i did go to the drive thru car wash. how would that affect this?
went to ford dealer and problem is solved. water was not draining to ground from evaporator box. when carpet was installed it was jammed under evaporator box and and not draing out of the car, but onto floor. it works fine now
