Would anyone know the part number for the 3rd engine cover stud? I have already purchased the two that are pictured. Supposedly there another one located towards the back. Don't understand why it's not shown in the pic when the other two are. Thanks for any help.

Searching this forum for engine cover stud nets you this thread:

https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/1-5l-dragon-engine-cover-parts-list-and-install-instructions.5402/

Which states in post number one:

What you will need:
  • Engine Cover = JX6Z-6A949-B
  • Short, Engine Cover Metal Stud = AA5Z-6N958-A (need 3)
What you will NOT need:
  • Long, Engine Cover Plastic Stud (already installed, used to hold the plastic bracket in place)
  • Bottom Insulator (already installed)
Ford saving money. There are no studs installed on my engine. Just the threaded holes are visible. Thank you for the link.

Where the heck did you find an engine cover. Several folks on here would love to buy one.
I'm still working on it. The hunt is the fun part. Picked up the mounting studs. Taking care of the small details first while they are still available.

The long stud should still be here. At the right front drivers side of the engine (hood open, you standing at the grill looking in) there will be a wiring loom attached to a plastic "tower". A tie wrap holds the loom to this black plastic tower. You cut the tie wrap, move aside the wiring loom, and pull up on the tower (it will come off), exposing the tall mounting stud needed for the engine cover.

The other 3 short studs need to be purchased. Some members have stated that on the passenger side front, a short stud has screwed in, but still needed two others.

You could get away with not needing the long stud, as the engine cover will install and stay secure without it, using just the three short mounting studs.

I'm going to go look again. It's such a rats nest. Maybe I missed it. While we're at it does anybody know the part number for the lower hood insulator? I can't find it.

I couldn't get the plastic stud. My sales rep is a former aircraft mechanic. He installed with just the three short mounting studs. It's been over a year and no problem.

So, they (Ford parts) no longer have the long stud, and yours does not have it already, holding the plastic tower?

With the heat this engine generates I no longer want a cover but I just looked on my '23 and there is something white in that piece down a bit. I assume it's the white stud.

Not sure that is the right part #. I'm looking for that long narrow pad above the engine cover with the 4 white clips holding it on.
