Paint missing in engine bay 22 BS

Look at the trunks and engine bays of the old muscle cars if you want to see some bad paint work/overspray from the factory, that was very common.

that’s probably just an efficiency/cost move by ford. I’d let sleeping dogs lie on this, hey don’t have to worry about mechanics scratching paint that isn’t there in the future.

This has been discussed before. It’s a common cost savings technique that most customers will never notice.

I thought they missed my whole roof with black until I found out recently that they decided Carbonized Gray Badlands would get the Carbonized Gray roof as standard without the option of a Shadow Black roof despite what the window sticker says.

I’ll get over it since I wanted it. :cool:

As others have said, this treatment on areas you don’t see has been going on forever, not tied to the BS only.
