What is this “owner manual “ of which you speak?
Didn’t get one.
And I DO NOT trust the service oil change people after my no oil oil change in my Escape. Yes they admitted f’ing up and replaced a 125,000 motor with new every thing. And gratis rental.
If you don’t have a hard copy of the Owner’s Manual (which should come with EVERY vehicle purchase), you can find it on your FordPass app.

Don't know how old your BS is, but I'd consider going back to the purchasing dealership and asking for it. My sales person presented it to us st delivery.
As Seoden88 stated, they are available as a downloadable pdf version. And they are free. I have both the paper copy and the pdf.
I'll assume you do not read through a new vehicles owners manual when you buy to familiarize yourself with the features when you are home, as you would have quickly realized you did not get one upon purchase. Maybe you bought it used, and the previous owner kept it.
No I threw mine away because it take up unnecessary space and is always available online

I do my own oil changes. Our dealer tried to sell us a $150Cdn rear brake service at 1100km, when we started to hear rear differential noise.

I have a 2022 OB, so it’s the 1.5. At 7,500 mi. I had my oil serviced at my dealer’s Quick Lane. At about 11,000, I happened to look under the hood and noticed the coolant level was below min. I then checked my oil and none would show on the dipstick. I called the dealer and they said to take it back to Quick Lane to have them replenish. Since they couldn’t determine how much oil it needed, they just did a new oil service, topped off the coolant and told me to take it to the service department to make an appointment so they can check these things out, which is scheduled.

My question is, has anybody here had a problem with oil loss? No drips under the car, mess under the hood, smoking, engine noise, smell, nothing.
My was built 12/22 and the owners manual shows all 1.5L engines have 6.6 quart capacity the bigger engine 5.3 quarts

whutdafug.jpeg

parking brake never fully released
scent now is truly burning flesh

crematorium ruled out

Changed my oil for second time and took picture of the oil pan for reference. This would be the metal pan and metal drain plug. took only 5.3 quarts.

I was caught unaware of the addendum card added to all the paperwork until reading a post here and sure enough I found it. Lately I have done a few 'rapid oil change' at those specialty shops (oil change is all they do) and I noticed they had bulk tanks of different oil. Apparently, they punch in the VIN and a computer dispensed the exact amount needed. One particular shop has the tech walk me out to vehicle, he pulls the dipstick and shows me where it is.

As an update, I took my OB to the dealership so they could look for an oil leak or consumption (their idea) a couple of weeks ago and found nothing. I've been keeping an eye on the level myself and it hasn't changed in a couple of hundred miles. I think the lesson here is, I'll get my oil changes at a local shop I've used for other cars and not go back to Quick Lane.

Reading your owner's manual has gone the way of 3000 mile/3 month oil changes. Too easy just to ask facebook or a forum than to do a little reading on your own.......
It's good reading when I'm at home and in the library.
