I saw in your original post where you asked Mark S his opinion on the way it mounts. Did you ever get an answer on that? That is my primary question between Draw-tire, Curt and the OEM receiver. Seems like the OEM receiver has the most solid mounting method but not sure if it’s really that much better to be worth the additional install hassle compared to the Curt.
yeah I never heard back but after reading jparra’s post, it def has me concerned about getting rear ended lol.
I have no real intentions of hauling a trailer, maybe a small uhaul utility trailer at most but it’s primarily for mounting a basket (when I get one) and a tie off for my dog ?

I had U-haul install the trailer hook on my BS. They used the Curt and installation price was the best I could find. I did not do the wiring because I just wanted it to transport my bike to some local parks.
