I see one comment in this thread that 2026 would be the last of the Bronco Sport. I'm guessing that was a joke.
I’ve seen zero indication the Bronco Sport is going away. But I‘ve heard somewhere the Escape is going away, but I haven’t been able to confirm that.

I don’t want to stray too far off topic, but Ford is presently suffering from depending too much on expensive SUVs and pickups. Expensive loaded up trucks are piling up on dealer lots. More affordable (somewhat) Bronco Sports and Mavericks are doing better. Keeping the Mustang (also getting stupidly expensive) as the only car option in the lineup was truly idiotic.

“ More affordable (somewhat) Bronco Sports and Mavericks are doing better” —> sales numbers aren’t very encouraging, the Bronco Sport can’t even crack into top 10.

Ford has a huge headache in their hands, the current platform that underpins the C2 family (Focus, Escape, Bronco Sport, Maverick, amongst others) is old and in urgent need of updates - bleeding sales numbers is just a result of that. Killing the Escape because “sales are low” would be a huge mistake because the Escape sells more than the BS, the problem is the Escape has been outclassed - walk into a Chevy dealer and take a look at the Equinox or the new CRV….the Escape feels old. Sales drop have followed Ford’s cheapening of it - the Escape was top 1 and then top 3 just a few years ago…

This platform cannot survive beyond 2027, especially with more refined competitors hitting the showroom soon…

Delaying the new F150 past 2026 is also a huge mistake…what will people (like me) do when our 36 months lease come and there’s not a new F150 to buy?! I know what I am planning to do ;-)

All of that happening while a trade war brings instability to supply chains and directly affecting all of their cars…!

I don’t know what these execs are thinking but the next few years aren’t look great…can Ford survive?

Bring back the back and front camera washers. That was a mistake removing the back camera washer. It is needed by anyone who goes off road or lives on a muddy gravel road. Or to clear off salt in the winter. Miss them badly!

P.s. Bring back the Cyber Orange, or another bright colour like a burnt orange.
All the colours now are so depressing. This Grey or that Grey or Silver or black, or yuck blue and puke green. White or sand aren't bad... who is picking out the colours? Look in the parking lots and see all the depressing colours. OK, I am done LOL

Just give me my cyber orange back. That is what stopped my from buying a 2025...no orange.

I would love the front struts to disappear and be an actual upper control arm/ coil over shock design for the front suspension. And a more open wheel well design for larger diameter tires like 33s or 35s. And a better front hook mount so we can add nudge/ bash bars in the front. And integrated rear hooks.

I understand the Heritage Edition. I don’t get this, though. I remember when they were doing this to Econoline vans and Pinto wagons in the ‘70s. It fit the vibe of the time, but not now. Besides there are no porthole windows here.
I had a full size bronco with these colors only they were irridescent. Pretty cool back in the 80's.?

That would be a switch, trying to make the bigger Bronco look like the Bronco Sport.
I think it's the other way round: this is a Bronco Sport rendered to look more like a full-sized Bronco.
