I also read somewhere that if the battery is disconnected that you have to do a steering angle relearn and a window bounce back reset also.

“steering angle relearn following a battery disconnect” is new to me. I googled and couldn’t find anything about that for bronco sports… can you provide a link or more info on this?

I see that for some other vehicles like this link for RAV4, but couldn’t find this for bronco sports.

Thanks!! While I did read my owners manual I missed the content about the steering angle sensor ..

If you disconnect or replace the vehicle battery, you must reset the following features:

Window bounce-back.
Clock Settings.
Pre-set radio stations.
Steering Angle Sensor.

Note: To calibrate the steering angle sensor, drive the vehicle above 30 mph (50 km/h) for a minimum of 1.2 mi (2 km).
Make sure to drive straight ahead for a minimum of 30 seconds. Several vehicle functions are disabled and a warning light could appear until the sensor is calibrated.

However … my ‘22 owners manual does not list steering angle sensor in that same section, it only says..

Maybe it's not actually necessary.

I don't know for sure if this was done on my BL but everything works as normal. Forgot to ask.

Could be they hook up temp power to the battery cables to possibly not having to mess with all this.

I didn't lose radio stations or clock settings.

I've asked if a dealer can hold the presets here. No answer but seems maybe you gave me one.
