You're welcome...I wish I now did not have that $%#@& song stuck in my brain.
I wish I was a little bit taller…I wish I now did not have that $%#@& song stuck in my brain.
Speaking of V8s, Yknow i have yet to see an LS swaped modern Bronco.Call me old school, but you can't beat the sound of a V-8 with a decent exhaust system.
I have a 69 Triumph Trident 750cc three cylinder motorcycle that I have had for almost 40 years - one of the better sounding cycles of it's era. I don't run my Bronco sport very hard - mostly commuting for my 70 mile round trip to work - but every now and then if I have to get on it, I can hear a bit of the same ripping noise that my old Triumph makes. The Bronco engine is actually only twice as big as the old Triumph engine. Three cylinders are unique - being a 4 stroke with 3 cylinders, they tend not to have evenly spread out power pulses. We also have a Subaru - flat four - which also has it's own weirdness. So I agree, it is sort of refreshing driving something that does not sound like everything else.
Ive got a 2016 rocket 3. 2300cc.TRIUMPH RIDERS UNITE! I rode a Tiger 1050 for seven years before trading up to the S1000XR I currently ride. I put almost 40K miles on it commuting to work and blasting around the local area in the summer. Up until the BMW, it was by far the best motorcycle I ever owned. Lightweight, powerful, agile, supremely comfortable, and owing to the factory "race" exhaust system a GREAT soundtrack. I often miss that bike, but alas, the House Appropriations Committee Chairperson will not approve ownership of more than one motorcycle at a time. *sigh*
