So when backing up the differential is catching and making a terrible noise like a stuttering when it snags.
Even driving forward at low speed it pops continuously.
Took it to ford and there definitely was no issue with them hearing it.
Apparently its a known issue (TSB 23-2335)

That would depend largely on your area. My neighbor is a finance manager at a kia dealer and they are still struggling to have more than 10 cars on the lot at a time so they are pricing them accordingly.
I think we are still a ways off of norm.
This is very true. I bought a 23 chevy bolt (for the tax rebate)
Less than 1000 miles and when i went to fill the wiper reservoir it dumped all over the ground. Come to find out they didnt fuse the filler neck to the bottle.
I had 2 transits for work (the big ones. Mediums or something like that)
A 2015 and 2018. They spent more time in the shop than not.
My favorite was when i was driving thru southern illinois and the service transmission soon message comes on and it stops shifting out of top gear.
Thankfully...
I change ours every 5k and run an oil analysis every other change. I wanted to change it a little early last time as i was taking a trip so it was closer to 4k but it came out spotless.
If you really want to go down an oil rabbit hole go over to bobistheoilguy and read those forums.
Sorry but the sport has been very unreliable for us.
15k miles on the clock and its been in the shop 4 times already.
1. Coolant leak above oil filter
2. Rear brake recall
3. Brake failure due to vacuum pump
4. Grinding noise when backing up.
Ive owned alot of vehicles and have never had...
In my boosted vehicles Ive had in the past they did not like iridium plugs. Stuck with copper and just changed them regularly. My motorcycle hates them.
Probably a shared component with another vehicle. Alot cheaper to just fill in unneeded spots than to manufacture a dash for each vehicle (maybe dash isnt appropriate term?)
Im not familiar with this particular system so i may be talking out of my ass but alot of security systems have a glass break sensor. This sensor works off of noise (sound of glass breaking). Maybe there was a noise similar enough to set that off?
