My overlander trunk, has anyone else invested in changes like this?

You might consider a 100w Walmart crock pot. Addition. Then prep food in pot, plug into inverter and drive to location and enjoy awesome hot lunch. A simple 2 bungie system keeps lid secured. (Walmart has a Walmart brand 10 dollar crockpot, I think it is 2 quart). Real Mac and cheese trailside is awesome.

I have kicked around a chuckbox setup since renting a built Gladiator Mojave last March and hitting the wilderness near Joshua Tree. It had a great one that would easily fit but it was pricey- about $1500+ I don't know why I've never thought of doing a box like that before.
