It is not a power hatch button on the BSport FOB. It is a tailgate release button, like the one on my Dash in my 2024 BadSport. It is absolutely NOT useless. If you are car camping it is a LOT easier to sit up, hit a FOB button and push open the released hatch than it is to crawl over the front seat to the dash button or climb out the side door and walk around to open the hatch.
ok so for a specific use case it might be useful to less that 2% of owners. how do you sleep in there, there is what less than 5 feet of length with the back seats folded down? and I would have a uncomfortable lump about my but area as I can't do the two positions with my rear floor to make it flat.

Incorrect. You can easily fit a twin mattress in the back with the rear seats down.

I am going to have to look, I guessed there was about 5.5 feet when I looked yesterday after seeing this thread. I'll have to put the seats down and lay in it. I don't want a mattress, but it would be handy if I could have a nap on a longer drive if I needed it

Sorry for the late response haha, but after using this random mattress for a bit, I cannot recommend it. Deflates quite a lot throughout the night. Right now I'm just using old mattress toppers. Amazon sells some tri-folds that can fit in the BS. 4-6 inch is good.
