I've been thinking about that a lot lately actually. Sounds like total payload is 1,170 lbs for the BS. Tent + two passengers nets around 450 lbs, so my setup shouldn't be close to maxing out even with all the other items. I'd estimate I'm close to around 7-800 lbs. That being said, I am worried...
Dynamic weight (while moving) is 150 lbs no moonroof. Static weight (not moving) is 600+ lbs, so no issues when sleeping in it. I will say there is a 3-4 mpg decline while driving, and you definitely feel it on top of the car.
Hi! I made this YouTube video covering off my current Bronco Sport "build". I really haven't seen a lot of people cover this car in detail on YT, so I thought it'd be a good opportunity to walkthrough my setup. I have a 2023 Big Bend, and haven't done much to it, but it's taken me to some pretty...
Sorry for the late response haha, but after using this random mattress for a bit, I cannot recommend it. Deflates quite a lot throughout the night. Right now I'm just using old mattress toppers. Amazon sells some tri-folds that can fit in the BS. 4-6 inch is good.
Hey! I have a starlink mini that I use on a clamp mount to the crossbars. I run the wire outside the car by cracking a window. Not the best setup in the world, but it worked good enough for me. For my use cases I was not interested in a permanent exterior mount due to wanting to angle for best...
Not my dog :P but I would imagine it'd be pretty tough to fit all three. Me and my girlfriend (5'10 + 5'8) have just enough room to be comfortable. If you utilize the very small space in the front you could possibly make a small bed for a dog. I'd just try laying the seats down and test it out
hi thought I'd show my current camping setup. Three sectioned platform that sits in the trunk, so full access to the backseats when in non-sleep mode. 10in of space in the trunk below the platform. Recently purchased the D-Hive SUV Mattress, slept great for the two nights tested (it fits inside...
