Will be ordering the part today as this just started happening. I won't go into the fact I dropped by the dealer thinking I was loosing coolant out the front :giggle:  šŸ˜†.

The color could be close enough :giggle: haven’t had a single drop leak since I did that write up, I’m calling the fix a success. It’s nice to be able to actually clean off my front cam on dustier trails

Took my Bronco in today since it is still well under warranty and the technician changed a washer. Had it home for mere minutes and it is leaking again. Went from leaking orange fluid before the repair and now blue fluid. Will be calling again tomorrow. Would hate to not have fluid when needed. This could definitely become a safety issue.

Do you have the listing for what they replaced? I reckon they probably just replaced the camera washer assembly, that didn’t fix it when I swapped it either

This was the report in case you want to know what might not work. The tech also mentioned the RainX fluid, which he thought was problematic. What does everyone else use? That just happened to be in our garage…

Yep, looks like just the camera assembly, that won’t solve it. I’m still heavily suspect there’s a check valve in the line and not the camera sprayer itself, given how the fix here works and remains to work. I’m sure the rainX fluid isn’t that big of a deal

I will be interested in what they will say tomorrow. I regretted not bringing my Ford Escape in for a seemingly minor issue which drove me nuts over time, so I am going to keep bring this back.

I would be surprised if it truly was the culprit, but I was also using primarily RainX brand washer fluid before mine failed.

I had only been using RainX washer fluid this year it took me a full year to get through the initial reservoir when I purchased the car. Around the same time I also started backing into our sloped driveway where the front now points downhill. I have an appointment next week with the full service garage, so we will see.

Took it in again for fix #2 and what ever they did it had no effect on the problem. As soon as they dropped it off I parked in my normal spot and turned on the spray and it continued to drip until this morning. Again I parked front down on a 4 degree incline (driveway) since it is easier to back in to the driveway between my teens car and the garage. I would expect a potential off road vehicle to function while parked on a hill.
