Would you move up to a full size Bronco in the future?

Hey it finally came in, congrats, looks great. And glad to hear the little Sport has grown on you. And I agree it really is a good utilitarian car. It does nothing the best but the engine is strong and its really pretty decent all around.
Thanks, I love the Sport much more than I ever thought I would. That being said, it does not compare to the FS as far as pure driving enjoyment. I am struggling going between all the vehicles having a clutch again. I get into the Sport and press the clutch in and the brake before hitting the start button. But,,,,no clutch in that one. The Lexus has an audio knob where the Sport has the shifter knob. One of these days this knob is going to change the radio station and slam the Sport into park!

The FS has now become the replacement for my Lighting which works out well because that didn't get very good gas mileage either but at least it had two 17 gallon tanks. The FS has one 17 gallon tank but gets twice the gas mileage. Either way, I'm filling that up with less than 300 miles on the tank.

The Sport is my daily driver and it's great at that for me. Plenty of pick up and good visibility along with being able to deal with our winters. I won't be getting rid of that any time soon. The Lexus ES-350 is our long distance travel car. It was my fathers and I would have never bought one but it really travels well and also has great pick up and great gas mileage. We did 5K trip this summer and really enjoyed it. The Heritage is basically my summer/weekend toy. My wife doesn't care to ride on the motorcycle these days with the poor drivers and the poor roads so having the Heritage will fill that void. Now, if I only had that 4 car garage! The Lexus was sent to the storage facility until next spring.

No because of price, mpg and realibitly. I own a mustang Gt 5.0 so I need something unitarian and not a gas hog. My next car might be the Toyota land cruiser or land cruiser mini they're talking about. Gonna keep the sport for about 12 years or 150k miles. I'm at 15k now so it's definitely far away. Now I can hope the not too complex 1.5 cyl will hold up that long.

I catch myself watching YouTube videos and wanting a 2dr, and I would if I didn't care about a $20k+ cost difference, ~10mpg, or road noise. I've been off road twice since late August, so I know it would be overkill to have the one I'd want. The build and price tool always ends up over $60k with nice-to-haves.
Still, it would be cool to say hell with it and get one.

It’s a completely different feel in my opinion and I have both. Like you say, the BS drives more like a sports car and the FS more like a truck. I have the Heritage Edition with the modtop and there is more road a wind noise but it’s a blast to drive. Even with 35 inch tires, it handles pretty reasonably. Gas mileage isn’t great but way better than my Lightning. I got the Sport because my dealer offered me a great deal while I waited for my FS. I hadn’t planned on keeping it once the FS came in but have grown to really like it for its usefulness. So now I have both. The wife isn’t so keen on it but there are worse bad habits in life.

I bought the BS Heritage in blue for my wife, she saw one about 6 months ago and we have been waiting for hers to come in. It has all of the features she wanted and fits her needs so no need for a "big" Bronco. besides if and when she wants to go off roading she can always go in my 68 EB half cab.

When you see the Sport and the full size sitting next to one another, the choice for me is obvious, full size is the way to go, the Sport seems like it's just a place holder.

I agree. I’m hoping Ford lowers the MSRP on them at some point to correct the pricing that’s gone crazy. The used market it correcting as well. Broncos on Bring a Trailer are selling for really reasonable prices. If Ford does do a 2025 Big Bronco refresh then 2024 models will get discounted for sure if/when that’s announced. I stop in and look at dealerships up and down the east coast of Florida while working to see what they are asking. Same Broncos on the lots that I saw a while ago.

I’m working on a potential deal on trading my 22 BSBL for a 24 Wildtrak. I don’t need to do anything. The little Badlands has been fantastic. Going to play around and see what they’ll do.
