If it's a decent dealer service department they should be aware of the TSB or at least be able to look it up.
There is no guarantee that the dealer will have the TSB repair kit(s) on hand.
Also the dealer will not just perform the TSB on your say so, the issue has to be officially diagnosed which could mean leaving your vehicle.
Ford does not want to give out free parts and labor unless they have to.
Thank you, understood

On what do you base this claim? Are your referring to the brake components? Do you have data?
I’m basing it off ownership of the vehicle and other people who own one that have had issues and car reviewers. I’m referring to everything. From the cheap interior plastics to the mechanical bits. If Ford actually used quality parts, they would have hardly no issues, but they don’t. They cheaped out and decide to sell these cars for a lot of money. Ford had the most recalls last year, most likely due to cheap parts. I’m really not surprised they had the most recalls with owning this car for a whole year.

For the brakes this is the second time they put out a TSB for them and who knows if it’ll actually fix the problem. The first one obviously didn’t. Even Jim Farley himself admitted that it’s gonna take years till quality is restored, yet they have a lot of money that it can get done quicker than years since they charge so much for these cars. They’d rather spend billions of dollars building that electric car facility down in Kentucky and Tennessee than invest that money into improving quality. And guess what? Electric cars are not selling.

My Fusion had good quality materials. I had hardly no issues with it. It just amazes me that they can go from good quality back to awful quality in such a short amount of time, yet it’s gonna take years for them to turn it around. They’d rather not fix the issues with their cars, instead telling people that it’s working as intended or that they half ass a ā€œrepairā€ without solving the problem and calling it a day.

I’ve had this car in the shop more than any other car I’ve owned in the past. I’m legit done with this car and with Ford and hopefully I can offload it in a couple of months and it can be someone else’s headache. As I said, I let my dad know about the new TSB since he owns the 2022 Escape (the car I had traded my Fusion in for that also had issues with quality) and if it doesn’t fix his problem with the brakes, I’m not even gonna bother with it.

I only went back to Ford after that Escape because I had this on order before I got the Escape, my dealership is really good and I didn’t want to screw them over, and I trusted that plant they built these at in Mexico since my Fusion was top notch and was built there.

If you want me to, I can create a whole thread about every single thing I have wrong with this car because it’s a long list, and I really don’t want to derail this thread anymore than it already has been. I think it’s great some people love this car and have no issues. I get it because I loved this car too, but with all my issues, I don’t anymore and I’m now looking elsewhere. It sucks because I really love my dealership and all the people that work there are great, but this is a Ford Motor Company issue and I’m done playing around with it.

Are these bogus?
If I remember correctly no, I was on the Escape forum when I owned my Escape talking about my issues and they sent me the same message and I replied and talked with Ford about it. They didn’t fix my issues, just gave me a service plan to keep me pacified since they wouldn’t do a buyback. I would love for them to reach out to me again though so they can hear my long list of issues and hopefully help others who are having the same issues I have. I don’t want anything since I’m wanting to get rid of it, but if I can help others, then that’s worth it to me.

It’s actually at least the 3rd time:

TSB 23-2308: Supersedes 23-2041
Obsolete: TSB 23-2041, Supersedes 22-2326
Obsolete: TSB 22-2326

I thought it was the second! I only have had this since September of 22 and I only had my brakes done once. I didn’t know it’s the third time!

Edit: I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since the Escape has been in production since 2019 and it has the same problem, but damn…

In the beginning i had terrible embarrassingly reverse noise and took my 2021 bronco in for the brake recall...I had to have my rear-end differential replaced about the same time. In my 55 years of driving i have never experienced a noise like it made. It "kinda" went away for a while but still there as an was still an intermediate embarrassment and concern....gradually became back more oftenand humidity became a non-factor and now at approximately 10k later.(.and note this)...and less than 2 yrs... the groaning "bat out of hell sound" is back with a daily vengeance. My dealer is always 2 to 3 weeks out on scheduling service and admits having qualified mechanics/tecks is a problem...excuses..a dime a dozen..right...
Anyhow...what should my dealer do to fix this continuous problem b4 my warranty expires in May 2024..so far they want to blame humidity while at the same time say it's cheap ford pads..haha.. its a combination im sure.....will they repair( not fix) a second time.?...they dont seem to want to..im so dissapointed with these simple issues being a huge problem that is not resolved...andat the same time seeing "marketing" propaganda from ford such as... URGENT!!!! OIL IS AT 0%..PLEASE LET US SCHEDULE AN OIL CHANGE AT A FORD DEALERSHIP!!!! ...pop up on ford pass...when you stll have 50% oil life in your vehicle..... and then you call ford and get a " i cant explain that warning" answer...a lot of bull i think...
the brake parts are cheap and Ford should replace..and replace and replace until they get it repaired...dont ya think?

Dove with richie Kohler several times in NJ and PA training sites. Dove with the Rouse's on NJ dive boats off the coast. Some fantastic diving.

Great book.
i cold water dove once in Monterey to certify. I did enjoy the Channel Islands but give me warm, tropical water please ? we’ve done Caymans, Cozumel, Hawaii, Fiji, Bonaire, and the Philippines. It’s time to start back up for sure.

Hey there! Can you send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealer you are working with? I would like to see what I can do to assist with your noise concerns.
I really hesitate to give my vin. My BS is at Lithia Ford in Fresno ca. They have kept it overnight. Tamra Harris. I had my windshield crack while in the passenger seat and nothing hit us…..

Calling all of me gear-sleuths!ā¤
I am heading to the dealership who is dragging their feet admitting the problem….
I thought someone had posted the parts needed and I would love to have that to show the service manager. Even an email to him later would give me something (justification). I’m also taking an audio And thankfully it’s raining so my brakes should sound like a pod of tortured whales. No excuses for them and no disrespect to the whale (I scuba?)
thank you for your kindness and time,
tamra

We have been dealing with since we have had the bronco almost 3 years. Brake job done in first few months, this past year, replaced every pad and control arms. Still no actual diagnosis for problem. I am now waiting on some ā€œscrew kitā€ with no eta to fix problem. Super frustrating. Trying to attach video so can hear issue

Sounds like you are backing up next to a railroad crossing with a freight train blowing its air horns. Unacceptable! Glad we have not had that issue. Good luck!
