he means a flash tune. requires about $500 worth of electronic hardware. then whatever your tuner of choice charges for a base map and some revisions to get it dialed in. monster tuned is reputable, but not sure if they have anything yet for the sport. he's been working on the maverick 2.0L which should transfer over to the badlands. not sure i would be comfortable squeezing anything more out of the 1.5L
I opted for getting a PeddleMax and a tune from 5 Star Tuning. "Normal" now feels like sport did with using all the transmission gears (In sport, this thing is an animal!) In reg sport mode, if I am not mistaken, it locks out overdrive, at least it did in my 21 BBI've recently been using Sport mode, and find it enjoyable. However, every time I start my Bronco Sport, I am met with a prompt that asks me to restore Sport mode. Is there no way to make the drive mode of my choosing a "permanent" settings? I have not found a way.
Mine starts in normal, and it doesn't matter where I left it.If my 2021 was in Sport mode when I turn it off, it will remain in Sport mode when I start it up.
That said, leave it in the mode you want it in when you start it up.
Oh no oh no oh no no noIf my 2021 was in Sport mode when I turn it off, it will remain in Sport mode when I start it up.

On my 2025 BS, you get 5 seconds to respond to the prompt to return to the non-normal mode.If my 2021 was in Sport mode when I turn it off, it will remain in Sport mode when I start it up.

I never see that, and I use sport a lot.On the '25 BS, you get 5 seconds to respond to the prompt to return to the non-normal mode.

Not sure about the other modes, but Sport mode turns off the auto-start/stop thing.I'm surprised that the people who make the little CAN bus device to turn auto-start-stop off didn't include putting the vehicle back into whatever mode it was last in, such as Sport or Eco. Now that might have been worth the $100 to me if it did both.
I agree, not worth it for one function.I'm surprised that the people who make the little CAN bus device to turn auto-start-stop off didn't include putting the vehicle back into whatever mode it was last in, such as Sport or Eco. Now that might have been worth the $100 to me if it did both.
When you say “full gauges “ do you mean analog? I hate my 1/8” increment gauges. The drive mode defaulting back to normal every time I start the car is one of those frustrating little things that annoys me about this car. Part of what I like about sport mode is that i get the full gauges, which should simply be displayed at all times in every mode. It's not like Ford used the empty space for anything else. It's just blank. At least give me the option of keeping all the available gauges up at all times without having to "OK" every time I start the car.
For 2025, the gauge cluster is all digital. In all modes, the cluster will show speedo, tach, fuel, and coolant temp. In "sport" and "off-road" modes, you have the option of adding two more gauges, including turbo boost and battery voltage. I wish there were a way to display all 6 gauges at one time in whatever mode I want, but it does not appear to be possible. When you say “full gauges “ do you mean analog?
