he means a flash tune. requires about $500 worth of electronic hardware. then whatever your tuner of choice charges for a base map and some revisions to get it dialed in. monster tuned is reputable, but not sure if they have anything yet for the sport. he's been working on the maverick 2.0L which should transfer over to the badlands. not sure i would be comfortable squeezing anything more out of the 1.5L
I opted for getting a PeddleMax and a tune from 5 Star Tuning. "Normal" now feels like sport did with using all the transmission gears (In sport, this thing is an animal!) In reg sport mode, if I am not mistaken, it locks out overdrive, at least it did in my 21 BBI've recently been using Sport mode, and find it enjoyable. However, every time I start my Bronco Sport, I am met with a prompt that asks me to restore Sport mode. Is there no way to make the drive mode of my choosing a "permanent" settings? I have not found a way.
Mine starts in normal, and it doesn't matter where I left it.If my 2021 was in Sport mode when I turn it off, it will remain in Sport mode when I start it up.
That said, leave it in the mode you want it in when you start it up.
