(1) … I do have the extended warranty, yet the dealership is refusing to do anything.

(2) There is a new TSB out as of Feb 17, TSB # 25-2501

(3) To Ford: I know Ford monitors this forum....
#1 - sounds like you need to either take the vehicle to a different dealership or contact Ford Customer Service (866-436-7332) and have Ford Customer Service set up a 3-way call with the service advisor, you and Ford Customer Service.

#2 - I believe it is TSB 25-2051 (not 25-2501) Moan Noise In The Rear Brakes When Vehicle Is Driven In Reverse In Cold Weather And/Or High Humidity

#3 - on 12-30-2024, Ford posted they no longer monitor this Forum

#1) Yeah, need to call Ford customer service anyway regarding the battery recall and see how to get refunded for the AGM battery I had to buy three days after the BCM recall. This would be a good time to bring up the TSB for the brakes. I just hate sitting on the phone waiting for someone to answer.

#2) Yep, typo on my part, the new TSB is # 25-2051. Thanks for correction!

#3) Ford knew they should run and hide.

I tried to have TSB # 25-2051 done and the dealer said it wasn't covered. My sport is out of factory warranty but I have a valid ESP and a premium maintenance plan.

Has anyone else run into this?

Several owners posted similar experience and Banjo Billy (see Post #19) said (prior) TSB 24-2348 states the Ford ESP covers that TSB:

“TSB 24-2348 on page 2 states the following Warranty Status:
Eligible under provisions of New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW)/Service Part Warranty

(SPW/Service Part New Vehicle (SPNV)/Extended Service Plan (ESP) coverage. Limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. NVLW/SPW/SPNV/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and
verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.

Regarding TSB 25-2051, I have not found the full PDF, perhaps you will have better luck and can find the TSB 25-2051 full description and see if it has the wording that the Ford ESP covers TSB 25-2051

I updated to ceramic pads and slotted rotors on the rear about a year ago. I also had the mechanic install the Ford Bushing Kit (1st interation) that was was supposed to eliminate the moan. The update worked for a couple of weeks but it returned slowly, as of yeaterday morning the moan was as bad as it was before I did the update. Yesterday afternoon I had my 3 year brake fluid flush done, I asked the mechanic to clean the rear assembly with brake cleaner to at least get a few days, hopefully weeks of quiet reversing first thing in the morning. It worked this morning but the moan will return for sure. The good thing is ceramic pads generate half the dust of the OEM pads and its easier to clean off the wheels but switching to ceramic pads did not eliminate the moan. If you find a permanent solution better than mine lets us know, that dreaded moan is the only thing I don not like about my BS, other than that it's been a great little SUV.

i have a 2025 bronco sport with this moaning problem. I only have about 100 miles on it. The latest tsb only covers cars manufactured prior to this year. Took it to my dealer and they refused to do anything ro fix it. Ford should be ashamed of there quality. Beware of buying a bronco sport.
