they Ford dealer ran the pressure test at 21 psi i guess ? When test was over they said it was at 15. So there's a problem they just don't where yet. They will check now with a borescope or something like that by taking the spark plugs out. Figures
Took 2 weeks off to help my fatherGet into home hospice
Thought jd be going back to work today after thinking Ford would fix my car or Give me a loaner yesterday. I'm not eligible for a loaner since I didn't buy car there and actually they mostly go to the elite Lincoln customers.
You need to talk to Ford Customer service. Plead your case, you should get a loaner.

Could be water pump shaft seal and/or water pump gasket. After they put new pump on they will pressure test again and if it doesn't lose pressure then problem solved.

Thank you. They did say they ordered parts for what's behind water pump , I think that's what they said. Just in case it's more then just the pump.

So , good news so far. The car might be ready today . It's looking good. They are installing

So I may update this in a month or so. The coolant issue was the water pump . Time will tell . But surely it seems that's what caused coolant loss. New pump is in and I have the car back. Ford and my Ford dealer did a great job ! Had the parts ordered yesterday evening from Detroit and received early today and were able to complete the job . Bravo Ford ? Thanks to all who added their input. Take care . See ya around.

Reading all these posts,
I filled mine to the top of the M where it says MAX fill and now it’s down to the tank seam in 2000 miles.

Maybe have dealer do a pressure test?

Next service due in 1300 miles.
I’ll make them document everything for me as I did the last TWO services. I do a oil change every 5K miles.
If they say what they said the last two times, that it was normal for this turbo engine I’ll let them know I’m contacting the Mo-Co direct to get it in writing.
Betcha they fix it !
If not I’m trading it in on a Ranger or AWD Maverick.
23000 miles and they and I have added almost a full gallon.

Take it to your Ford dealer. If your not seeing leaks on ground it could be the water pump like I had. I'm guessing it a loose clamp or bolt somewhere. But do have Ford check it for you. My Dealership went all out for me and diagnosed the problem and replaced water pump.

Mine was down to the tank seam in 2 weeks . And I had to refill it 3 times in a month and a half. And it was the water pump.

1.5 vs. 2.0, but I think that's too much. Mine is 14 months old and I haven't added a drop of coolant. It's not on the MAX line, but it isn't far below. I don't see the add or full marks though.
I've heard tales that different Sports have different antifreezes. My 2.0 has a really neon yellow fluid in the overflow. I don't know if it's traditional or dexcool since we have aluminum blocks?

Edit: I should note, that the Owner Manual fails to tell you what sort of antifreeze to use, other than to say 1- don't mix types (common sense) and 2- don't use methanol. Time and again, it hammers the reader to use "prediluted coolant approved to the correct specification". They call it "WSS-M97B57-A2 Motorcraft® Yellow Prediluted Antifreeze". Try as I might to Google "WSS-M97B57-A2", I couldn't tell you what other product would be compatible. Ford really skirts a line on making it possible for users to correctly service the car.
Well, I've come full circle on this one, getting the Sport ready for Fall. My overflow is down maybe 1/4" of coolant but still above the Min mark. I'll probably change the oil before the cold hits and want to top off everything else. So I'm back to trying to find the coolant for the vehicle. Ford's website is absolutely gaslighting me with this. I can't even find this page by going through the usual search. I had to find it on Google and then go to the page:
Ford Bronco Sport Losing Coolant Captur

The BOOK says VC-13DL-G is the coolant for the 2.0. This part right here ^ , which is backordered anyhow. The parts stores and the Big Rainforest want over $30 for a jug. No thank you! I'm about to take the distilled water that I have on hand and just top it off.

At my 25,000 mile service they found my leak. A water pump is on order.

3k miles after new water pump not a drop lost. So I'd say problem solved for now.

I would stick with the 50/50 mix like the owners manual says. You don't have to use Motorcraft VC-13DL-G, you just have to make sure whatever you use meets Ford's WSS-M97B57-A2 spec. Take a trip on over to your local Wally-world or auto parts store and find the 50/50 yellow stuff. Look at the back of the jug to find out what spec the product meets. For example, Peak's OET Extended Life Yellow is specifically marketed for newer Ford vehicles. Here's the label on the back:

2021 Bronco Sport BIG BEND 12k miles, slight COOLANT LEAK noted at regular oil change not low on coolant, however lightly colored coolant green visible small puddle (dollar bill sized) noticed after parking (not due to wet weather).

Monday: In shop for scheduled mechanical appt (due to leak)after one month wait. BRAKE RECALL replacement completed.

Tuesday: Dealership reported LEAK at WATERPUMP (ordered Tuesday said to be on back order) and additional testing requested by shop. Rental vehicle requested and delivered to home.

Wednesday: Dealership reported: additional testing showed coolant LEAK IN CYLINDER as well. Resolve-NEW ENGINE ORDER, estimated completion one week.

Note: had also had RATTLE while decelerating between 25-30 miles per hour, shop did not confirm. Will record.

Other issues: BUMP in DASH passenger dash was DEFROST CAM ARM-replaced under warranty. Other issues, EXTERIOR BUMPY FILM that is not easily removed from washing and dealer acid wash, they recommended self pay clay bar, tire chewed up front driver mud flap and only getting LOW 24.1 MPG on eco with light foot (Its not an exaggeration).

I had my engine coolant system pressure tested at a local dealer the other day. The test didn't show any pressure loss so nothing came of it. The next day I added about 4 ounces of coolant, snapped a photo, dated it with the mileage and will monitor for more coolant loss. The system loses approximately 4 to 6 ounces of coolant every 1500 miles. There's no signs of leaks anywhere, no odor, nothing. I will have the the oil tested when I do the my next service to check for any coolant intrusion into the block. Other than that if the leak cannot be identified, Ford cannot fix it. I'm only 11K from the Powertrain Warranty expiring so I hope I can validate the coolant loss before it hits 60K.
This is frustrating as I know it is leaking but without proof there is nothing I can do but wait and hopefully be able to have enough evidence to capture a covered warranty repair.

I believe 2-3oz coolant loss per year is considered normal. 4-6oz every 1500 miles would seem to be enough evidence for Ford.
