I’ve had multiple turbo vehicles and have never burned through coolant. Even tuned. They were driven far harder than my BL. Going through coolant like above is an issue, despite what Ford says

Mine goes from the full mark to the add mark at every 5,000 mile oil change. My Ford Dealer said it was normal to use some.
Whatcha boyz think ?
I think if it was mine I'd at least borescope the cylinders. You may not be burning it at all, you may have a small enough leak that it's not leaving a puddle. A borescope will reveal all. If you're burning a significant amount of coolant it will steam-clean the cylinder, removing all the lubricant.

If you don't have one, you can purchase a cheap USB-based scope at Amazon. Look for one that has integrated lighting and is small enough to fit through the spark plug hole.

My Golf R would go through a little coolant, but just a little bit. I would have to top it off about once per year. No symptoms of any larger issue owned 2 of them and both did it. About 5 years of ownership in each (first was totaled for hail damage).

Our 1.5L after ~16,000 miles, needed ~12Fl Oz to get it to the Max marking.
@~21,400 had to add 12-13 Oz to get to the Min level.

I don't know a whole lot about turbo. That being said . My last car was a g37 x 330hp no turbo and not once did I need to add coolant . Especially not 3 tImes in a month . I noticed it lost 2 inches below max level in less then 2 weeks . Multiple times. At this point I'm not refilling it again until it goes into ford aug 3rd. Unless there's zero coolant in the reservoir. If I had to guess. It's the water pump. I don't smell it in the exhaust or see any smoke from the tail pipes. Thanks for the responses .

Take care of family. Two weeks after you leave the job they won’t remember your name.

So I'm back. Thanks to everyone who took the time to post here and help . The car is in ford service . All day and tonight supposedly they will do some sort of pressure test. They even said concern for leakage into the turbo and engine . Since there are no obvious signs of leakage. But they can see its lost coolant since last i filled it and that shouldnt be happening. They even spoke to ford big guys about it from what the tech said..So I'm hopeful it's not going into engine . But to me I feel like with my luck it is. And I'm sad. I really like this car. I just bought it in March with 14 k miles. If it's leaking into motor i guess I need to sell it ? I doubt ford is going to Give me a new engine. Anyways I really don't want to thInk the worst. Hopefully they have some answers for me tomorrow. Il keep ya"s posted.

If there is coolant going into the combustion chamber(s) then Ford will for sure replace the engine or fix what is causing it. You have a warranty.

Unless you have afternarket tune or some other engine mod Ford will replace entire engine if needed. If dealer has good techs it can be fixed correctly.

Well hopefully it isn't but I'm at a loss for how to explain adding coolant 3 time since beginning of June. . And all 3 times the reservoir was a couple inches below max after filling it to Mac level line. So something is happening to it. Il let you all know what they say tomorrow . Thanks

Keep in mind that Ford is separate from your Ford dealer. Just because the dealer is doing something doesn’t mean that Ford is aware, yet. The dealer will at some point contact Ford to determine what Ford is going to pay the dealer for any repairs.

After speaking to the service representative today . I had to call at 400pm because I wanted to know what was up with car after it being there for 8 hours. Apparently om guessing he spoke or someone spoke to someone at ford and they told him to run the stress test on it. He said it takes hours? I'm just hoping they find the problem. And we get to the bottom of it. And can be fixed. I have to see if there's a way to post a picture. I took one of the reservoir when it was low. And so far it's been that low 3 times in the last two months. With no apparent sign of a leak. ?
