Liftgate Interior Button Missing?

Thanks to this thread I looked at my BB bought April 30 last year and saw this switch for the first time. I could think of no good use for it but my wife thought the grocery pickup thing was marvelous even though we don’t do that. Ford’s got some marketing savvy apparently.

I know what button we're talking about. There are endless pictures of it in this thread. But what I told you, and a bunch of other people have all said, is that it opens the liftgate release, not the glass. You're the only person here saying it releases the glass. So either you're mistaken, or you own a unicorn. But if there's a way to make mine a unicorn too, I would maybe do it.

LED on the Start button to let you know it is on, probably most useful when Start/Stop is on

It sounds like the base and Big Bend trim levels don't have the Liftgate interior button.
