Larger tire sizes for stock Outer Banks 18" wheels.

This may have been talked about before... I would like to switch to a larger tire on my OB (without a lift) using the stock 18" wheels. The vehicle is used mainly on the street and I'm not sure what size will work without any rubbing. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thank You!

I do t know if there is too much difference in the OB vs BB wheel well. If there isn’t, I went to the 245 with my 18”, but I also put on a 1.5” lift.

take it to a tire place, have them put on some test sizes and see if there is any rubbing.

I have 235/65/R18 Toyo Open Country AT3. But also a 1.5” Ready Lift SST kit. Most go with 245/60 but I like the little bit wider as well. Test fits like the other response mentioned does sound like a good idea.

You should be able to run 235/60/18's or check out 245/55/18's, 255/55/18's or possibly 265/55/18 sizes. I think the 265/55/18's would be too wide and would rub, as well as look to big for the stock rims. It all depends on the the look and use you have in mind.

I run 255 55 18 ko2 but have a lift, I had 235 60 18 without a lift and had no rubbing and that was off-roading
