Issues with backwards sports scores

I've had this issue since I brought my Bronco Sport home in August '21, but never sought any advice on how to fix it until now.

My sports scores are all backward! I guess, technically, the score is in the correct place, but the team icons are in the wrong spot. The attached photo shows my Birds losing, but they are actually home against the Dodgers and winning 5-2 (at the time this photo was taken). That's why I say the scores are technically in the right spot, but the icons are wrong, as the home team is always second in baseball.

Did anyone else have this issue? Advice on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. Even though I am used to it, it would help my heart health in the long run, especially when the Ravens play in the fall.

I opened SXM on my tablet, but I couldn’t find the MLB channel. I’m guessing you have a sports package I don’t have.

I get basically any channel. It comes in handy for the longer drives when I'm tired of listening to the same songs over and over.

Do the MLB icons ever show as you expect to see them?

Is there any relation to which team is the home team for a game like home team is always on right?

What version of Sync 3.4 are you using?

As a separate test (not a solution), if you have or install the SiriusXM App on your phone, try bringing up CarPlay or Android Auto (depending on your phone type) and run the SiriusXM App on your phone only as a test to see if the MLB Team icons appear as you expect to see them.

The 2 team icons are shown. I think the score shown is the total runs for each team, based on which side each team is on the screen.

Baltimore, 2 runs and the Dodgers, 5 runs. I think the home team is always on the right side, visitors, left side.

I'm just taking a WAG on this. Maybe I'm way off base. I hope I'm reading your issue correctly.

So Orioles logo should be on right, they had 5 at the time. Dodgers should be on left, they had 2.

You're right on. Scores are technically in the right spot, logos are flipped.

Let me give this a go with my iPhone and I'll get back to you. But no, they have never once been correct, NFL is no different, NHL the same. Always flipped.

So from what I read the score is as expected with home team second, in thic case on right.

And the logos are off.

Do you see this with other games? Are the logos just presented alphabetically? That is, Baltimore before Los Angeles.

That's right. If the Orioles play Arizona, it will still be flipped, for whatever reason.

Let me give this a go with my iPhone and I'll get back to you. But no, they have never once been correct, NFL is no different, NHL the same. Always flipped.

I’ll check tomorrow in mine for the MLB stations, but for NFL and college football mine are always correct.

Hey @awhitebronco … I checked 3 different MLB games tonight and all 3 are correct. For this I was using SiriusXM like you without CarPlay.

Here is one game which i googled the score. All 3 games show the correct MLB icons.

What version of Sync 3.4 are you using?

And you may as well try:

RESETTING THE SYNC3 SYSTEM
1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek up (seek forward) and the audio unit power buttons until the screen goes black.
2. Wait three minutes to allow the system to complete the reset.
3. Press the audio unit power button to switch the system on.

Same as @Dude, mine are correct. Def check the Sync version and try a reset.
