I could not find an introduction thread so I decided to post one here in the photos section. My name is Jim. I am 60, married 36 years, from Va Beach Virginia. I originally went to a Ford dealer to test drive a mustang and to convince my wife I needed one. However, at age 60, I actually convinced myself a mustang would not make a good daily driver. The getting in and out would be just too much. My wife point out the Broncos and asked if I had considered Broncos. I had not given them much serious thought. The ones I liked were too expensive and did not seem practical. My wife pointed at the one we eventually bought and we test drove it. We really liked it and the dealer let us keep it for the day. The long term test drive was a big key to us buying it. It is a Sport, Big Bend with a Hoss 1.5” after market lift and suspension, with Nitto Grappler tires. For me the modest lift and tires were the biggest selling point for me. I chose BBBronk as my username because, as you can see in the photos, it is black, and I named it Black Beauty in my Ford App. Bronk is self explanatory. My daughter is a photographer so when we get around to it, I will add some better photographs. I hope after 20 years of trouble free driving, I will be able to learn something here. Lol See you around the forum.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Virginian Jim. My wife & I live in SW Va just west of Martinsville. I have a 69 Mustang as my weekend play toy.

Welcome Jim, little over a year ago, I drove into Ford dealer, traded in 2019 Ford mustang California special on a 2024 Bronco BL in Shadow black. Having fun at 72 yrs old.

Tent camping or an RV? We camped for almost our entire marriage. Started out in tents then went to a pop up and then… well you get the picture. Great memories with kids and on our own. We sold our travel trailer last year. The wife had some health issues and doesn’t have the energy for it anymore.

Started with the family as a teenager tent camping and lots of traveling, now days as a 60 something with some mobility issues and my partner with same, we have graduated to a Droplet trailer, giving us the best of both worlds in my opinion.

I've posted it on here on the forum before: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/camping-set-ups…-whatcha-got-share-yours.11729/page-3

With the large doors and easy access at wheelchair height, the Droplet works very well for both of us and still gets us out to nature as much as we can enjoy it.

Looking forward to 2 upcoming big trips once my partner retires, one to the East coast (Cape Spear, NL) and the second up to Alaska and the Territories for checks on the bucket list while we can.

Yes, lots of great memories and hopefully more to come. The BB handles it amazingly as noted in my posts.

Looks great, welcome to forum, from Indiana. I’ve got a 2024 BB and love it, but only have about 6K on it as I enjoy my 22 Explorer’s (Platinum) comfort as well as it is the easiest to get in and out of at 72 with mobile issues.

Thanks for starting this thread Jim. I’m also new to the BS. This is my fifth Ford. We traded in our 08 Escape Hybrid for the Big Bend. Previous Fords were 87 F250 Diesel, 02 Mustang, 05 Escort, and 08 Escape Hybrid. I was originally a Chevy fan with 57 210 model, 79 Blazer, and a 66 El Camino. The El Camino was my favorite, but the family was getting bigger,so we went with the Blazer. Totally enjoying all the bells and whistles of the 25 Big Bend.
