Install was easy. Still not sure about programming. Tried the 2 key deal and didn't get a code
After doing the 2nd key swap, if done correctly the factory code will appear on the dash display momentarily. Once you've written it down then you can go to vehicle in the infotainment screen and program it. It took me a few tries... once you take the mat that covers the phone charger you'll see a small indentation in the shape of your keyfob. It has to be placed exactly in that indentation.

This worked perfectly for me.

Only message said key programmed. That option isnt available in any of the settings. I'm going to try to enable in forscan and try it again in a bit.
Sweet. Let me know how it goes... Like I said, the dealer didn't tell me to bring both keyfobs with me. So he couldn't program the code. I'm not sure if he did anything in between that I'm not aware of.

Hopefully I'll figure this out for anyone wanting to do it themselves in the future.

Install only took about 45 minutes. Only scary part was putting the glass back in. Removing not as bad.

There are 3 ways (at least) to get key code for the drivers side exterior keypad, see if yours has the code here:

“It's printed inside the lower fusebox in the passenger footwell. The 5 digit code on the security module.”

EDITED: (Btw … just a thought - if you don’t see the code printed as shown at location in link above, you might not have the security module which controls the keypad)

The YouTube video here is very likely the instructions you already tried

Did you try to Create a personal entry code:
1. Enter your-code
2. Press 1•2 within 5 seconds
3. Enter personal 5 digit code
4. Press 1•2 to save personal code #1. Up to 5 personal codes can be entered.

@Dude that was the thing, there wasn't an option yet in the menu.

But I got it now! Went into BCM in forscan and enabled "keypad" went and tried code on fuse box, nothing. Tried two key retreival method again, code popped up this time, but it's different than the one one the sticker. Tried that one and it unlocked the car.

Went into APIM and found "door keypad code" enabled that and the option appeared in the settings menu. So i could program custom code.

I would've got it done sooner but someone was using my laptop.

Heck yea, glad you got it to work. You must've needed Fordscan after all... sorry about that.

Can anyone confirm that 2025 (Badlands) does not have the hardware inside such that you could install the keypad integrated into the pillar, and the only option is the double sided tape battery one (that's ugly).
