Found this today, hanging down below the bumper and the front of the motor, dragging on the ground- the part number on it (070782-M7MMB) doesn't come up with anything on Ford's site or the inter webs... anyone recognize this ( approx 2 ft long weather seal or similar ) part?? (2021 Badlands 2.0)

Sort of a wild guess but… grille shutter? I think the 2.0 uses them like the 1.5?

if not, maybe some random trim piece

thanks for the responses. It's not one of the shutters as it doesn't have any side/end mounts, it looks like it clips into something from the back edge. It's flimsy enough that it must be a seal of some sorts... will have to get under there and see if I can figure out where it attaches to....

image of lower edge enlarged
question : is part comprised of a single material or plastic and rubber?
part of the enlargement sure looks like rubber wiper blade
not that it's a wiper blade
but that it may be a weather seal of some degree

yep looks like a seal of some sort. it's soft rubber on the leading edge but hard plastic on the back. sorta like a wiper blade but 2X the size.

guess no.1 - seal between radiator and frame along vertical edge
not gonna rule out Dudes guess of cybertruck wiper blade
oddly enough saw two of those creatures only days apart last week
looked like some sort of genetic mishap

Was it attached or just dangling? It could be from the road and your BS sucked it up and took it home.

Hah I have seen a couple of cybertrucks cruising around this week, not gonna rule that out. It was pretty stuck up between the radiator area and the motor, probably a seal of some sort ( and almost def mine, the part no. is a FOMOCO #. Also I heard a rattling noise when I switched to ECO mode during my morning's commute, I understand it moves those grill shutters when you do so... might have come loose at 75mph....

looks like it! no incident other than maybe a rock or some debris on the highway caught it just the right way. waiting for a dry afternoon here to crawl under there and reattach it....
