Is there any chance that they damaged the sensor during the tire change?
Did they drive the car after rotating the tires? The module needs some miles or time to read the sensors.
I think is the new Skrillex song for the summer!! Sorry, bad joke.
My old Fiesta ST used to do similar when the battery was low. I guess it's the same.
I think there's a service action for grinding noise when turning at low speeds. If I remember correctly, it is contamination on the rear differential oil. It might be worth to take your BS for a revision.
Well, there isn't a separate controller for the transmission on BS like a TCM, the transmission is also controlled by the PCM. The 24S24 requires to reflash both the PCM and BCM which deletes previous learned values, including adaptive values for transmission.
You can check on the NTHSA webpage what recalls your BS has by your VIN. You can confirm if it applies to your vehicle of not.

Just wondering how did that part came out from there, did you have a...
As far as I remember the Escape has a different engine and transmission (depends on the model year), so the driving experience will be different. The 1.5L engine on the BS is smaller so it has to rev more.
This is the second post I read related to rear end sliding. The other post said it was during heavy rain.
I haven't experienced that during rain BUT the other day I was driving at 30-40kph and I didn't see there was a speed bump ahead so I brake kinda hard and I felt the rear end sliding to the...
I don't understand how the person got out of the car and pulled the seat belt that far. Commonly a person would unlatch the seat belt and guide it to the initial position before leaving the car. Otherwise it would be tangled with the belt.
These type of parts are not very common to be replaced...
