If there is a single thread for all BS owners dealing with turbo issues, now, in the past or in the future, please direct me to it. If not, I would like to get everyone with turbo issues under one umbrella. My turbo left metal in the engine and engine needs replaced. If we all have turbo issues at the 60-70k mile mark and just out of warranty, they won't be popular for long.

Ford Bronco Sport Turbo Fail 1.5 L eco boost / or other

Turbo on the record, let us know.

345 miles, injector went bad in middle of interstate, flooding…
Limped off at next exit, had to be towed back to dealer. Dealer replaced all 3 injectors. 2023 BS Heritage 1.5
Would have added info to your sheet, but not able to.

Did your turbocharger fail? From your post, it's looks to be injector related (which is not the turbocharger). Cheers!

I just updated the spreadsheet so everyone with a link will be able to edit.

Me too. I'm getting leary of taking it on any 4-5 hr. trips.

There are literally MILLIONS of these engines in operation around the world. Compare that with the number of people reporting problems here on this site. IMHO, you should own and drive your car with confidence.

i think alot has to do with changing the oil before recommended intervals. these ecoboosts seem to run dirty, i have been changing every 4-5k kilometers.
thats just my opinion, i could be wrong but straight up running flawless at 75,000 kms.

Thanks Mark. Wish I had more confidence in it but sadly I don't. Like others here I'll keep it till warranty is up then it's adios .

I took a 2200 round trip without any problems. The BS performed well.
I will say I was a bit nervous taking the trip with it.

So, why would you be nervous to take your new vehicle (less than 2 years old) on a road trip, of any length?

Realized post posting that it was only the turbocharger, (likely the German Continental turbocharger, with Bosch management) he wanted details on.
My apologies to all.
