Both my original and replacement windshield, both Ford parts, say made in Mexico.

Maybe the new one says made in Mexico because the replacement company here in SoCal got it from a warehouse locally.

Obviously we are closer Mexico than Tenn. Other local's may get one made in Tenn.

Well my windshield says Made in Mexico, drivers side, lower corner. I don’t think the windshield is any less quality. Does your windshield have “Made in ..” info?
Mine also has the Made In Mexico on it too. Dont really care since it appears to be fine so far

I heard that to replace the windshield, that "forehead" piece above it has to come off. Or maybe it was the other way around.
The plastic piece under the hood near the windshield had to be removed for my windshield replacement

I found this video showing some of the steps

The BS windshield picks up more chips than anything I've ever driven. I think I notice a new ding every 2-3 months. I'll wait until I get a full collection or something starts to spider. Thanks for this post and the info when I do.

I got three chips in the windshield of my 2017 Mustang over three years. Three years with the Badlands so far with no chips. YMMV.
