I’m installing a JBL BassPro Hub into my BS BB. It fits perfectly in my full-size spare, but the mounting post JBL included is too thin.

I need to get a threaded rod and cut it down to secure the subwoofer.

I have the part number for Lug Wrench Stud Retainer. I can’t figure out if the BS uses metric or SAE.

I would take the retainer nut or bolt to Home Depot to the hardware aisle. They usually have the template where you can try out and see if it's metric or imperial and what size. That is usually what I do when I need a nut or bolt but am not sure what I have as the mating end.

Got it figured out. Had to order an M10 rod from Grainger and cut it down. Picked up the rest of the hardware from Home Depot.

My boy works for Best Buy as a car audio installer, getting it wired up this weekend.

The M8 mounting post from JBL:
