The Ford App is on your phone. The difference is the SYNC icon within CarPlay. I had that with SYNC3 on my Ranger, but when I got the Bronco Sport with SYNC4, there was no Ford app within CarPlay. The latest update adds that back to the SYNC4 screen.I’m a bit confused… so this is the Ford app through CarPlay?
What’s the Ford app show on CarPlay as a general rule?
In my opinion, it seems redundant to have the Ford app in the vehicle, but again, I don’t have it on CarPlay, so perhaps I’m missing something.
I use the app to start my car, and unlock / lock the doors when I can’t find my spare key
So, what benefit is having it in use in the car? Genuine curiosity.
That would suck. I enjoy NOT having it show up on the screen.
Not really... just gives the SYNC4 system the same option as SYNC3 has always had.More stuff to break or drive us nuts!

Did you get the karaoke app update in the Ford apps? Not sure if that's only a Android auto thing, or actually in the Ford app itself or if you can access it through carplay I have no idea because I'm anti-apple everything.My 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend Black Diamond had an new icon appear in the Apple Car Play Menu. After the most recent update this appeared. A ford app with a notice of more to come.
