Because you look ridiculous driving with your fog lights on when the weather’s perfectly clear and it’s annoying for oncoming traffic
Thank you. That was a riveting assessment.

It looks ridiculous driving through a perfectly lit area with your fogs lights flashing from left to right going through congested areas at slower speeds.
It also looks ridiculous sitting at a traffic light at a curved intersection with only one fog light on.

Oh, I completely agree. I hate that feature. I was browsing this thread in the hopes that somebody had discovered a way to disable it

What a thread. Wow.

the cornering lights ARE the fog lights. So if you don’t like them I‘m providing several options

Turn on the fog lights and they both remain on
remove the fog lights themselves (unplug or remove light assembly)
don’t turn your wheel or operate turn signal with the lights on…ever
trade for a 2023 or newer….seems like Ford is dropping the feature
Don‘t drive at night
get a rattle can and spray them
shoot them out with a sling shot

any one else? Help me out

Surgery on the wiring?
Blinders that prevent peripheral vision?

Oh, the possibilities...

"Just leave them off until there is actual fog"

"Switch them out with yellow lense fog lamps"

actually, this is what ensures that they function
So in the driveway, you can then turn them off once its known they function.

Maybe not the Broncos so much, but many others I have to drive by are extremely bright. I'll usually put on my high beams as I pass by so that oncoming driver can get an idea of how bright and annoying they ae.

I don’t find them to be that bad. the fog lights on the BS are mounted so low and only illuminate the immediate area in front of the vehicle.

It’s the newer, big lifted trucks that annoy me. They are already ridiculously bright from the factory, Huge/multiple LED lights on these lifted 3/4 ton pickups are leaving opposing drivers temporarily blinded. I now hate driving at night because of these dude-bro’s… In addition to all of their lights being on, they usually add aftermarket lights and then they put a lift kit or a leveling kit (because they never tow anything) on the truck and don’t adjust the lights afterwards so even though they’re running in low beam, they’re still angled at your face. I literally loose sight of everything while I pass them on these tiny roads where I live. If you don’t know what I speak of, cruise by a Buffalo Wild Wings or a Twin Peaks sometime at 9pm.
