Floor mats missing?

I was wondering why I had the all-weather mats instead of carpeted mats. Dealer must have over-corrected. Check it out:

*The '23 OBX comes standard with carpeted mats. The options are all-weather + carpet or all-weather only. Mine should have come with just carpet, which would have been OK since I still had the all-weather from my 2021 BS OBX.

Badlands comes with rubber flooring, but if you get the Premium package, you get carpets too. On the 22MY you could order the carpeted or rubberized inserts for an additional charge. Not sure if they still offer those.

I got carpets without the premium. Upgraded to the rubber mats with points.

Not sure what the Outer Banks model came with, but when I took delivery, the box that contained the carpet was lying in the back hatch area. The dealer installed the rubber mats (part of an additional $1200.00 mark up above MSRP which included the rubber mats, window tint, and 4 oil changes), and the sales person was going to take the box. I prompted him with a NO, and the box stayed.

The box is now in the shed, and the rubber floor inserts are in the Bronco.

For what it's worth, our BL came with rubber floor mats and the carpet mats as well. I don't believe we have the Premium Package either - no heated steering wheel, etc. I have the carpet mats in a plastic bag on a shelf in the basement. Otherwise it would be a constant battle to keep them clean due to white dog hair!

Ordered my 23 OBX with the all-weather mats instead of carpet. LOVE being able to dump out sand/debris and hose them down.

I guess Badlands comes with carpet mats. I got my Rubber mats through a Ford dealer on Amazon.

I have mentioned this in other threads but I think it is worth repeating. If anyone is ordering a Sport (or any Ford really), then do not include any floor mats. More often than not they will include them (at no cost) and often upgraded ones. If they do not, then order them and you may be able to use points.

I just took delivery of my BS in Heritage trim a week or so ago and it had rubberized mats installed front, rear and in the rear compartment as well. I wasn't expecting that and was puzzled when the salesmanperson handed me a set of carpeted mats (for the front) as well.... who knows, maybe they'll come in handy one day.

My carpet ones are in my garage. I need to find a bag to put them in. They were installed when I took delivery. Came home and put the rubber ones in. The carpet is nice, but I live in the Pacific Northwest. Dirt and rain make mud all year. It’s much easier to hose off the rubber mats.
